Hisayo(they/them) is a Registered Acupuncturist and Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner who earned their diploma from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

 

With over a decade of experience as a community artist, Hisayo has facilitated storytelling in diverse communities, particularly with LGBTQ+, immigrant and refugee, and Indigenous communities. Their practice is deeply informed by the resilience and integrity of those who have been pushed to society’s margins.

 

Hisayo is an apprentice and student of at Nguistyle Integrative Medicine Clinic since 2024, further refining their techniques and bringing the profound wisdom of Classical Chinese Medicine to their work.
